As a member as the LGBTQ+ I think the whole neopronouns and identifying as animals really made the whole community look like a giant joke, honestly I don’t really care who gets offended because it makes me feel embarrassed to be semi apart of it

I also just wanna clarify that I don’t think you gotta “look trans” to be trans (2:40) I was using the bathroom scenario as an example saying you can’t just go into a restroom and claim you’re that gender without any real indication or effort that would just be creepy asf…LIKE DUH. But i can see how it can be misconstrued in that way. anyway this was all fun and jokes at the end of the day, if you’re mad stay mad i can’t help roast you when you’re literally identifying as a bee babe it’s just natural instinct 💋

I'm an ally, and I tried to understand these neopronoun people for a while, but I just can't. They really piss me off because they're making such a mockery of trans people. Lots of people will see these tiktoks and think that being trans is the same as claiming you're a rat or a demon.

I support they/them pronouns. Hell, I even support xe/xim and zer/zim pronouns. But as soon as someone comes up to me tryna tell me they go by “dog/dog self” I’m gonna cry real tears

As someone who is trans, thank you so much for saying this. A lot of neopronouns are used to mock the trans community and I hate it. I know there are multiple people that have “valid” neopronouns, and that use them for real. But the rest is so annoying

As a trans person I'm usually called transphobic for not using neopronouns and saying they're harmful for actual trans ppl (they're making us look stupid etc.) and actually at some point I started feeling guilty because of that and was questioning if transition is a good idea cause they gaslighted me into thinking that I'm not valid 💀🫡

These neopronouns add so much fuel to the fire when it comes to ACTUAL conservative/homophobic/transphobic people laughing at the LGBTQIA+ community. They're never going to take anything seriously at this point.

Xenogenders kind of make the LGBTQ+ community seem more like a fandom than a collection of people who fight/have fought for their right to be ftm, mtf, gay, lesbian, bisexual, etc. They make gender and pronouns seem more like an accessory or something to collect instead of what they're really there for. They act like gender and pronouns are something you can choose when it isn't. It’s stuff like this that makes it easier for the transphobes to say that the LGBTQ+ community it dumb. Liking cats is fine, it’s a personality trait, but it’s not a gender, it’s a noun. Turning your personality into a gender isn’t just silly, but it’s disrespectful to actual transgender people who have fought to be happy.
