Every driving instructor seems to do that on first attempts - they walk you through each stage up to - say a turn - but at the last moment throw the rest of the instructions at you. For example that 1st left turn attempt: 'Off the Gas. Gently on the break - slowing it down' .... car travels closer to the junction and the next instructions are 100mph and far too late: '1st gear break break break 1st gear'. Some steps missing there imo. Shes now thinking 'clutch, shifter, BREAK BREAK BREAK clutch down first gear'. And then the disheartening 'aaaaand just going to stop you there. youre about to emerge.'
