It is always so funny when you ask for a piano and the pub landlords are so hesitant. As if somebody would be asking for a piano if they can't play at all. However you can play so well, nobody would ever complain, they are all lucky to be able to hear the talent LIVE

I love watching the various reactions of people when you start playing. The ones that join in or just simply start smiling so much while watching are beautiful. And then there's the ones that try and pretend it's not happening (like the woman at the table behind you trying to make conversation), so scared that they might crack a smile and, heaven forfend - it's caught on camera!

It is always so great hearing a piano that lets face it looks like it has been closed for a while. Detuned, unregulated and almost abandoned. You give them a new life and once again make them the centre of the room. Great work.

What's more amazing than his playing is someone's ability to act like they are disinterested or look the other way while he is playing....its the best thing to happen at that bar since the piano was placed there
