Growing up in 🇭🇰Hong Kong, Vivek Mahbubani was forced by his Indian family to learn Cantonese as a “survival skill”.

Now as a stand-up comedian, it's a superpower that enables him to make people laugh all over the world.

Back for another Melbourne International Comedy Festival with his act — performed entirely in Cantonese — he reflects on the growing Asian comedy scene and what it takes to be funny in another language. 🎤
