I never realised how apocalyptic the entire Ice Age franchise is.

Sid’s family did abandon him in the first film. When we first meet him he’s waking up in his tree and he notices that the herds are moving out and he goes to wake his family only to notice they’re not there. And then he gets annoyed and says “they left without me” and wonders why no one cares about him.

It wasn't until the Siren part when I realized this was loosely based on the Odyssey. The berries were lotus berries, and it was about a dad trying to get back to his wife and child

Granny’s Pet Whale is a Livyatan, a prehistoric Sperm Whale, larger than living Sperm Whales & notably lived alongside Otodus megalodon.

"Master Of The Sea" was my favorite villain song at one point. It's still pretty good, and Captain Gutt is still great. Plus, the stuff with Granny is pretty funny.

FYI Sid's family didn't really come out of nowhere. You find out in the first film that his family abandoned him.

A few fun facts: The voice actor for peaches is Keke Palmer, the voice actor for ethan is Drake, and the voice actor for the female mammoth with the pink flower is Nicki Minaj

Loved these movies as a kid and now that I'm older i can see the deeper messages sprinkled throughout. Ice age 2 was my personal favourite but I'm glad they carried on and made it a series!!

I’m 33 years old so I literally grew up on these movies, and Scrat’s scenes STILL kill me every time. It’s old school Looney Toons/Hannah-Barbera.

JLo, Drake, Josh Gad, Peter Dinklage, Josh Peck, Heather Morris, Rebel Wilson and more.
Also, I can't believe that these things happened in the Ice Age series, what an adventure.

I feel like the "Piracy doesn't pay" line was a reference to an antipiracy advertisement that used to play before every home-released movie in the early 2000s

Honestly, one of the main reasons why I really like this movie is because of the song at the end I’ve been basically singing that song ever since I watched this movie and it’s been quite a few years
