  • Alcaraz is the only player I can think of who won their first three majors all on different surfaces. Shows you how scary versatile his game is, especially for his age
  • 11-1 in five set matches - he’s got the djokovic effect where even if he’s down sets he’ll still be favored
  • @shuangzhou8445
Alcaraz just had so much better stamina, the natural advantage of his young age. He was moving around chasing balls more the whole game but still managed to have the accuracy in the last 2 sets. Such physical talent, very impressed.
  • Shameful that grand slam finals are no longer available on prime time tv channels. Streaming is a slap in the face of lifelong viewers.
  • @stevieacuna5614
Zverev had so many opportunities to break and just couldn’t capitalize. He plays too timid in the important points

Effing NBC Sports didn't show the awards ceremony live. Happy they won't be covering Roland Garros again.

Close match, Zverev only won 3 games in the final 2 sets. But every game was close and could've went either way. Alcaraz in the end was more consistent on big points.
  • Thank you Nbc sport for blessing up with two more minutes of highlight. More than we deserve.
  • Carlos has the mental strength to go along with his physical skills. He showed it here on the big points, but he showed it even more when he defeated Novak at Wimbledon.

Alcaraz gets AO he will be youngest at 21 to win All 4 majors. Astounding
  • @RainWasTaken
He literally just turned pro like 3 years ago and he’s already almost completed the Career Grand Slam, he’s incredible!!!
  • @Tsechen287
The last 2 set Carlos turned on god mode

I've been watching GS tennis matches for a long time, Carlos has taken the game to new heights. His racket control, and the shear invention of his shot making stands on the shoulders of the greats who came before him. Combine that with incredible speed and savvy showmanship, and you have the new grand champion of this era, BRAVO Carlito!

Coming into Roland Garros, Carlos Alcaraz did not win a single clay court championship this year, having to withdraw three tournaments and lost in the Madrid quarterfinals. Alexander Zverev had a slight advantage, capturing the Italian Open 1000 title and beating Nadal into almost immediate retirement, which in a way motivated the Spaniard to avenge for his mentor.

Alcaraz is an amazing player, very gifted, smart player . No one has ever played like him. 👏👏👏👏👏
  • I see that literally every player has adopted the "I can't hear you" hand to the ear beg for praise. 🙄
