I speak for everyone when I say Tokyo Ghoul needs a brotherhood version but we can keep Unravel as the OST
-
Finally us Tokyo Ghoul manga readers are being validated
-
Tokyo ghoul got the “let’s butcher this down to be TV-14 and only 12 episodes per season” treatment. Every scene in the anime is a huge time skip.
-
The panels in the manga went crazy, they had some creativity pumping all throughout the series
-
Ishida's art style is just gorgeous to look at. The cover arts are still some of the best I've seen in manga.
-
The " I don't want to die " and "I am... a Ghoul" panels both gave me goosebumps. Holy shit, both are terrifying.
-
Imagine how popular it would have been if the Anime actually followed the Manga 100%.
-
I’d literally do anything for a Tokyo ghoul brotherhood
-
I didn't expect a Tokyo Ghoul video after so many years

As someone who is a big fan of Tokyo Ghoul, it really sucks how a lot of people never gave the manga a shot because of the bad taste the anime left. I love the art style and the emotion that's conveyed in the manga. I cried my eyes out when the mom was killed protecting her daughter, and as a kid back then who only have a mom left as well, that shit hit way harder just imagining something like that happening to me and my sister. I love how it isnt black and white, and shows both sides of the story like you say.

It was so nice that Tokyo Ghoul isn’t another cheap “humanity is the real villain” story like Elfen Lied or somethin. It proposes multiple questions about the existence and survival of two species that cannot coexist and says “now how do you think this’ll work? Cuz I sure as hell don’t know”. I just finished the first manga series, and it’s easily become one of my favorites.

Fun fact white hair is described often attributed to lose of innocence. Which is just another reason why the panel/scene hits hard moreso for the manga. Because in poor old ken's case he had not only his mind broken almost beyond repair, was torture for who knows how long during each session during the 10 days Jason held Ken, and much much more

I'm gonna keep screaming for a Tokyo Ghoul anime reboot till I die. This needs the FMAB treatment
-
Tokyo ghoul manga is the literal "we're this close to greatness." It's almost, almost a masterpiece.
-
I still pray to this day that Tokyo Ghoul gets a good adaptation
-
Still going to say it. TG is one of the best manga I have ever read. The nuance and details Ishida put into the work is incredible. His cover Arts are amazing. Still to this day I want to see a TG faithful remake.
-
Never forget that Studio Pierrot jammed all 179 chapters of TG:Re into a single anime season. An entire arc could start and end within half an episode
-
I feel like the greatest injustice is that the beauty of the art in the manga is lost in the adaptation. Ishida Sui's art is beautiful
-
Even though I feel like I would've appreciated a good Tokyo Ghoul reboot while still in my teens, I'd still watch a good reboot anytime really. While it's true that after reading and watching absolute masterpiece series over the course of almost a decade now I don't feel the same need for a better adaptation of TG as I felt a couple of years ago, I still definitely think TG should be done justice. Especially bcos it was my second (or third maybe) anime I'd seen and I hold it dear to my heart. It truly deserves a good reboot. That and TPN S2.

As someone who’s read the manga like 4 times i can totally assure it’s one of the best things I’ve ever read in my entire life, and it deserves a proper adaptation but I do agree with the people that says that the ost should be the same, both the first and the second opening were just magical but specifically the second one, it has got me through some dark times and I still love it!
