I’m a Louisville resident, and this situation paints a perfect picture of how Louisville metro police treat its city’s residents. This police force has totally embarrassed itself again. There 100’s of police in Shelbyville rd outside of Valhalla and I have lots of pics of the police just standing around staring at their phones doing absolutely nothing. if you need a someone to testify to the negligence of LMPD please let me know

Southern cops, 'nuff said. The MOST bizarre part of this whole deal is that Scheffler got a police escort back to Valhalla so he could make his tee time!!

Guilty of 1st degree “offending a cop”!

How absurdly embarrassing is this for Louisville?
  • @paulsmith9198
They didn't mention the bruising of Officer Gillis' ego as he power-raged the incident.
  • Considering that this was Louisville Metro Police Department and their recent past, Scottie was extremely lucky he didn't end up full of holes.

Excitable cop arrests someone that can afford the lawyers to show what really happened. How many poor guys are sitting in jail because they couldn’t pay the legal fees. This is one the police won’t get away with
  • @coreyhansen9711
Does the cop think he's in an action movie? Why is he jumping on the hoods of cars 😂
  • @ismaeldiaz119
Everyone knows what this was. A cop on a power trip that made bad decisions that cost the world’s number 1 ranked player undue stress. That detective picked the wrong one this time and he brought the world’s attention to the situation he caused.

Sounds like Local Cops on a power trip.

In a week we will learn that Detective Gillis had field bets placed on the PGA outcome

The list of alleged crimes is ridiculous. He should sue Louisville PD.

Not surprised this happened in Louisville, this town has gone over the deep end. Cops, politicians and church leaders are all nuts.

Kentucky can kiss hosting future tournaments goodbye after this.

Kudos to Rich for 1) Making sure that from the start the bigger tragedy was the man who died in the accident. 2) For giving both sides of the story without speculating or making a judgment as to who is right or wrong.
