remember when I was young..dreaming about life..but..anticipation is so much better than realization.....I've learned..wish I could go back to the dreaming days

Smashing Pumpkins are so awesome. Every music they did were just amazing and never boring or repetitive. They have their own identity. Smashing Pumpkins for ever. They're "Perfect"

Song reminds me of a simpler time

ME TOO. I did grow up in the nineties, but I was a child {born in 1987}. I'd give ANYTHING to be a teen and listening to all of these great bands, especially Smashing Pumpkins!

I'm 16, why couldn't I have been 16 in the early nineties and grown up with quality music like smashing pumpkins... Don't get me wrong there's great new music out, but for kids, It's all about swag now. I used to ride bikes with my friends, knocking on their doors asking if their parents if they could come out and cruise to the candy store to get a slushy. Those were great memories. I'm also one of the few that actually call my friends and parents, but I feel that it's not the same..

Nothing better than alternative 90's music. Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins... I wish I was old enough to have grown up listening to them on the radio.

Adore would make a great album-to-movie interpretation, much like Pink Floyd had done with The Wall.

I remember reading lots of interviews about this clip. It was very much a sort of "sequel" to 1979, as many of the original actors/characters were included in the clip. Also, Billy was rumoured to be completely terrified of heights, and the crane idea kind of freaked him out, but he did it all the same. Regardless of lineup, I will always be a Pumpkins fan. Their music means more to me than that of any other band, and while some is better than others, I am only too happy to embrace it all.

I cry every time I hear this song. It's beautiful and it reminds me of a time in my life when I was a happier person.

1979 was one of my favorite music videos, and I just found this now! it's cool how they made a sequel.

No other band captures a moment in time better than The Smashing Pumpkins.
