    Even 42 years later, I'm sure all of those kids remember meeting the champ back in 1974.

    Ali was just like a big kid himself 😂 what a great dude he was.
  • I'll never forget seeing him standing outside the Palmer House in Chicago in 1968 or 69. Tall, handsome, reserved, he was signing autographs and I got one. I'll always treasure it.

    Years ago my friends mother was on a plane from NY to Europe. She got involved in a conversation with the man next to her, it was quite a while before she realized it was Ali. She said he was polite, engaging, interesting, and very humble and one of the nicest people she had ever met. What surprised her was that he wasn't at all like the bragging persona he portrayed to the media. She, who couldn't stand boxing, became a big fan of his.

    He was not just a boxer, but a born showman and entertainer. Later in life a humanitarian and philanthropist and role model. I miss and love that guy
