    Brian, This is the first of your videos that I have seen. All these years since you had not only the dream in high school, but also the skill set. I was a bit surprised to see the electric drill, rather than something you had hand-knapped, for drilling the hole, but then you made the birch bark tap, and I saw that you still have the old-school skills. Good to see you still have the same enthusiasm I remember.

    You have to plug it up at the end by whittling the end of a stick so the tree does not get infected (I think)
