Is Centurion Still Too Strong?

Ok I agree in the sole fact that fighting a Centurion is a High Risk, Low Reward deal in which if you miss up even once, the punish potential is very high in how much they can punish you depending on how good they are. Granted Centurion is mostly scripted in that his moves are usually predictable as fuck, but I feel he is intimidating in the psychological sense any player who goes up against a Centurion knows of how hard he can punish if you slip up even once. Psychology is still a definite factor in this game that can affect you greatly depending on person to person, but I think we can agree that fighting Centurion can be frustrating or stressful in that his punishes are very, very harsh.

Lighting fast heavies, 16 heavy faints, drains 90% of your stamina from one parry, half the hp of a tank from a pin+charged punch, 80 to 100% of your hp from a wall splat. Yeah seems balanced.....

Centurion is MOST DEFINITELY still broken. I was playing in a tournament as a berserker against a centurion, I was on almost full health, and he only had one bar. I had messed up on ONE failed guard break (I wasn't close enough) and he just launched into this completely unblockable combo that drained all my stamina and reduced me to only one and a half bars of health, and due to no stamina, then got me killed, which cost me the finals win. That was a hard fought match on my part, and on one mistake, drained all my health in less than 10 seconds and cost me victory.

I just want a skip cutscene option when I accidentally let it trigger.

cent always kills me in one annoying cheesy combo. it's always the same, every fight against him is the same shit and one fuck "as a orochi" you got like one bar left if you're lucky and no stamina, so basically dead. that's broken af if you ask me

I think he has a few problems 1. Heavies Waay to fast so centurion can simply attack through some vortexes 2. Stamina punishes are crippling mix that with unblockables , melees so you won't get your stamina back , and a powerful zone unlock 3. stamina because he can be very aggressive you would think his stamina would be limited like highlander but he barely ever runs out of stamina 4. His combo potential is much to strong , heavies lead into a punch which leads into a light , or if wall splatted another heavy, these can all be feinted , if thrown against a wall it's a confirmed charged heavy (a lot of damage) , which leads into a heavy punch (stamina drain and knock down) which leads into another heavy attack(even more damage) On the up side his openers are predictable if kick , dodge (into a dodge attack or dodge melee ) if jump attack, parry or crush counter , if light, block dodge or parry(if you can cause I sure as hell can't) if gb , counter, if heavy parry dodge or block But if he can feint, well in my experience you are pretty much fucked

Dude, that fucking move where he shoves his sword into your shoulder and you LITERALLY can't do anything about it, while he pushes you to the ground for ANOTHER free heavy, wtf were the devs thinking?

Look, we get it. You need to know the timing for centurion, that's the deal with all characters, you have to time it right, but the thing is the punishment that comes right after, no one's asking to mess up and expect everything to be fine. But the fact that he can completely annihilate you from one slip up is ridiculous.

I know how to beat centurion... 1- Remove him from the game 2- Play Conqueror 3- Leave the Match 4- Use the Balista on him 5- RUN

If a centurion pushes you into a wall just put down your controller because basically all your health and stamina are gone.
