  • He was attacked by another hiker? As a hiker myself, I would like a little elaboration on this...
  • @Eurlanful
What? "Police do not think there is an ongoing risk to the public." A hiker was attacked by another person and left injured. Fire rescue and police were notified. But" it alright now." What are you talking about? So they know who it is and are giving that person a pass? Why are they so sure there is not "ongoing risk"? Dude almost died.

Police say there's no threat to the public, so what's the real story?
  • @MamaHarperr
Um..I'm glad this man is okay but what's really going on here? I appreciate the feel good story but...🤔
  • @D2RickD2Rick
Why is it these news outlets focus more on the “feel good” aspect of story and don’t even ask some important follow-up questions like, why does law-enforcement think there is no longer a threat? It’s absurd isn’t it?
  • Those teens should be so proud of themselves. Most people would not help or assist. Mad respect for them. Saved this man's life ❤
  • Something "spooked" him and next thing he was in the water. Care to elaborate? Animal, person, something supernatural? This guy is not being entirely transparent.

Waiting for a follow-up of the investigation.
  • Bravo 👏🏾 👏🏾👏🏾 and million thanks to the young ladies and men’s for helping the hiker. God Bless ❤
  • At this point I'd rather run into a bear than a human in California. That sounds like a serial killer who attacks hikers.

No. No. No one "camping" is out walking a trail at 10pm. They're by there campsite or in a tent. So....what's the real story here ??
  • Yayyyyyyyyyyyy! Human kindness is still alive and we still can have hope in our young people.

Humboldt county is a very weird and mysterious place, it’s beautiful but in the deep back country you get some very interesting and dangerous characters. I hike around there somewhat often traveling from a neighboring county. They have one of the highest missing persons in the nation in the small emerald triangle
  • Bear spray is good, but .45 is better. The 2 legged variety of vicious beasts are always more of a threat than 4 legged.
