    I use neodymium magnets. For 3mm plywood 8mm x 40mm x 3mm works great
  • Holy Dog Paw Paw! You know I love my honeycomb pins, but I never thought about using DOGS for pins! We use them on our workbench, why not on the honeycomb bed?? Great Idea! Awesome video Sir!
  • @RNMEDIC1335
nice easy tutorial. Thank you. I am still in my first week of my first laser xTool P2. I will be making these, thank you and I see the Army sign in your shop, Thank you for your service!
  • Totally Awesome hold downs, just what I have been looking for ; ) Nice Video Thank You.
  • Fantastic video! I have an interesting honeycomb.. I expanded my Comgrow Z1 to 400x800mm and I am using an aluminum lighting diffuser that has 1 inch square holes for the honeycomb . I'm guessing that I will have to experiment a bit, but I hope I can make some hold downs that work..
  • @centralseac
Pretty useful programme for box making on the CNC too I think.
  • Nice tutorial. I find the hold down pins invaluable also. Your honeycomb looks so clean. Do you clean it after each cut? If so, what do you use to clean it?
  • @JackInTheShop
Nice job. I don't use any work hold on the diode laser. I have some strong magnets I use on the CO2 laser. I might make some of these for that one.
  • @leerd68
I used your tips to make some pins for myself. What a difference they make in holding down the smaller or thinner pieces I’m laser engraving. Thank you!

Watching when kids are still asleep so, no audio. You building an air plane Paw Paw? Those squares with a hole in the middle looks like my foamy firewall.
  • Hi Paw Paw, did you make the video for making the box yet please?

Hello, nice work and i have question please. I bought a Sculpfun S9 about a week ago. After assembling it, I found that the Z-axis, which has wheels on both sides and a belt pulled over them, does not run smoothly and always seems to get stuck (jump) as if there was a flat on the wheels or an unevenness on the rail. It always does the same on both sides. I've also tried removing the belt, but it has no effect. Any ideas? Thank you very much.
