Tips: learn how to drift. Put the items in ready to use mode (put it back (L)) and hold it there so you can use that as defense against shell attacks from the back. Squeeze L & R to do a flip on ledges and get a small speed boost off of that.

I also play as inkling girl I think the best cart is the normal bike and glider but the monster wheels

This is my opinion for every mario kart game: - super mario kart (snes) It is an okay game, the drift is difficult and you don't get a boost from it. But it's the first mario kart game and it is on the snes. Overall an okay game - Mario kart 64 (n64) It is a solid game. The physics are okay and the drift is good. I prefer the n64 over the snes. Overall it's a good game - mario kart super circuit (gba) In my opinion, this is the worst mario kart game, It is difficult to control your kart correctly. Although the tracks are good, this is for me the worst mk game. - mario kart double dash (gcn) It is a really good game. The 2 players in 1 kart is a great addition to this game. The tracks are really good, new characters are good and the special items are cool. Really good game. - mario kart ds (ds) This was my first ever mario kart game, I grew up with this game. It is a fantastic game, famous tracks like peach gardens, airship fortress, delfino square and much more, you can control your kart really well. For me this is the second best mario kart game - mario kart wii (wii) This game is fantastic, maybe even perfect. This game also introduced bikes for the first time. My favorite track is in this game (koopa cape), and there are so many more good tracks. When mario kart 8 (deluxe) came out, there was made an online version of this game and you can play over I think 300 different tracks (ctgp). I have so much nastalgia for this game. -mario kart 7 (3ds) I like this game, it is a really solid game. The glider and underwater was introduced first in this game, altough I don't like every track in this game, It is worth it to try it out. - mario kart 8 deluxe is a great game with great physics and track selection. The booster course pass makes it even better. This is my list: 1. Mario kart wii 2. Mario kart ds 3. Mario kart 8 deluxe 4. Mario kart double dash 5. Mario kart 7 6. Mario kart 64 7. Not sure of this is a hot take or not but I'm gonna share it anyway This game is my favourite Mario Kart game, from its much more balanced items (which was a problem MKWii had) to its great tracks, characters (mostly) and catchy music this game has it all. I love Mario Kart Wii but MK8DX will always be my favourite of the 2

Tips for gliders: For normal glider ramps, simply drift boost off it. It is faster than tricking off it! For cannons or something similar in speed, hop into the glider ramp. Also slightly faster than tricking.
