You said you never heard anything like that before. And you’ll never hear anything like that again. That was a once in lifetime performance and the greatest guitar solo of all time.

I love watching people's faces when My all time favorite band kicks it into High Gear and Shredds the Living Hell out of those 6 slingers ! Allen Collins and Stevie Gaines were 2 of the greatest guitarist that's ever lived ! I ran upon your channel and saw you reacting to my favorite band and I grew up jamming out to these legends.. I've saw em twice but not the original . I was fortunate enough to see Billy Powell the keyboard player and Leon Wilkeson the Bass player in Riverbend Cincinnati in 96 and both of them have passed on and I also saw The founding member of the Guitar Army Actual name The Outlaws out of Florida to and Huey Thomason was playing with Skynyrd when I saw em in 96 . You wanna hear some more shredding the Absolute Hell out of guitars you can react to The Outlaws Green grass and High Tides and listen to the studio version and I promise you will flip a lid and need a bunch of Cold Beer and maybe a good shot of Wild Turkey 💯

I absolutely love your reaction. This is the finest live performance of any song I've ever witnessed, be it in person or on video.

I Always Love watching how Allen Collins looks like he wants to rip the whammy bar right off his guitar during that ending crescendo 🙂

I was born 1958. Music really changed late 60's for better. Enjoy these old videos/ recordings. Great music has its own language

Great reaction. you may also enjoy the live version of Lynyrd Skynyrd T for texas 1976 kenworth concert.

That’s when the guys would let us girls in the front so we could see!😂❤❤❤
  • The person I was dating my senior year of high school took me to this tour in St. Louis the Fall before this concert. We sat 2nd row center and The Outlaws opened up for them. Yes we looked great back then. Now I have 6 grandchildren lol

No cell phones, no bras, no worries. Just people having a great time.

Great to see young folks enjoying the greatest southern rock band ever. This is the greatest closing song bar none.

Oh how you underestimate that last instrumental. That is 3 guitarists, 2 playing the main duet, with the bassist also rocking out. This isn't just a performance. This is Legend. If you want another great live Skynyrd song check out; You got that right - 7/13/1977 - Convention Hall (official) There is reason these guys are still legends to this day. Hope everyone is having a great week & much love to everyone from here in the UK

Allen Collins did break the tremolo bar off the guitar at the 1976 Knebworth show during this song.
  • @ksanches
You’re absolutely right Artimus Pyle was beating those damn drums like a machine gun.
  • @KoaWilson
Great reaction Mauro. If you would like to take a journey with Lynyrd Skynyrd down the southern rock rabbit hole, I suggest their live versions of "T for Texas" and "Call Me the Breeze" for some more three guitar army, let-it-rip southern boogie.

There were still some steel beer cans used up until 1980, when they were completely replaced by aluminum..That's what you're seeing there..Damn things were near impossible to crush with your hand!
  • It is quite sad the only person from Lynyrd Skynyrd. Original, that is still alive. Today is the drummer. Everyone else is resting in peace.
  • @Eleskola
Dude had no idea that he's about to hear the best piece of guitar music ever made.
