His songs have gotten me through some rough days when my husband had a stroke , was by his side in hospitals, and stroke rehab. But lost him April 18. Married 65 Years, can hardly stand it without him.

Derek, life sure is like a flowing river, & we will go with the flow!!!. I truly Derek just love the songs you write, such a clever son....... I only wish I had as good a brain as you, but then maybe I wouldn't know what to do with it.... Though I am my father's daughter, a lovely gentle caring man & so knowledgeable!!!. I`m half Irish. and love the Country. brings back some lovely memories. from when we travelled there as a child. through life. and when I became a Tour Coach Driver. for Forty Years. making some lovely friends . now Retired. I try to return to Ireland. when I can. meeting Relatives and Friends. and going down the Pub. for the Craic......
