You know you're listening to a high skilled narrator when you can just close you're eyes snd listen. I've only just stumbled upon this channel and I'm already a huge fan. How this doesn't have over a million subscribers is beyond me

Thank you for always correctly naming & giving any victims the respect due to them. Great narration & seemingly packed full of detail, classy.

For me, nothing beats British cases, especially old ones. Thanks for doing this again, UK cases are so underrated & there are still so many unsolved. I remember watching the show crimewatch (UK) from the 80s to 00's episodes. The cases & reconstructions were so eerie, like literally addictive af to watch, but sinister of course
  • Perfect story teller and so immaculately dressed..what a gent! Keep up the excellent work

Dear Mr. Brodie, you just made my day! Listening to your perfect Kings English & voice even when telling sad & tragic stories, takes me home to my Scot ancestors. Thank you.

I love Paul’s usage of words. Instead of using the most common word he chooses a lesser known and more sophisticated version of that word with the same meaning.
  • I absolutely love crime of the past. There must be so many unheard of or forgotten cases. I like the way you have dressed, you put a lot of thought into this... 👌💯 x

Dude you’re going to lull me to sleep before I can even pay attention to the story. How is your voice so soothing??

Poor Mr. Coombs. Finding that your wife was murdered is terrible but having the murderer be your oldest son is horrific. I wonder how he coped after that.

Are you from Scotland? I grew up in Edinburgh and left for Texas when I was 17. My family still lives in Edinburgh. I became a flight attendant and was able to fly all over the world free for 30 years. Mum was thrilled she got to see me quite often.❤

I do love your stories, and eagerly wait for your postings, but what I am increasingly aware of is the absolutely OUTSTANDING production values of your episodes!! They roll forward, the information within the story is presented in a straightforward manner,, yet at the same time, written to be engaging. The cutaways and transitions are seamless, and the dialog and delivery are, of course, flawless. And a doff of the skimmer to yourself, Paul! I can easily see you as the Retired Detective Inspector, and lifelong Law Enforcement, and can see a younger you in the uniform and helmet of the "Beat Cop", having worked up the ranks, then transitioning to Investigations. (all professional police role and titles are meant by me to be generic in nature, as I am sure the proper titles are quite different in Britain) This is to say that your role as presenter is engaging, entertaining, and makes one confident that the story is coming from a man who knows what he is talking about. So BRAVO! Cheers!
  • I love to listen to these as I do school work as background noise it's also so nice to fall asleep to it

I could listen to this man talk about anything and everything all day long! Such a soft accent. Lovely!😍

Thank you for this fascinating series. Poor Mr. Evans - absolutely wrongly accused and killed. Another victim of this serial killer.
