  • Nice. I have been looking at this for a while. I have a Mossberg 500 with vent rib, smooth bore slug & a fully rifled/scoped barrels. It does anything I need it to do. But I really like this 940.
  • The 940 PT is an awesome shotgun. I would like to try it side by side against the Beretta A300 UP. Great video bro!

There's a new version of the 940 that was revealed at Shot Show that had QD points on the forend and stock. (it's called the Professional plus there's a new Thunder Ranch version) The early versions of the Tactical only had sling swivel studs. Do the new ones have a QD cup in the stock now? Adding a QD to the barrel clamp is easy enough. Also, I've heard some complaints that the barrel clamps walks loose but tightening down to much can cause feeding issues (somehow). Did you have any isues with the barrel clamp? Thanks!

Idk about your state but in Michigan it’s 6 total for a semi automatic shotgun or rifle for hunting .. meaning you can have one in the chamber and 5 in the tube.. and I think the 940 is a 7+1 so you’d have to buy a plug for it.. which sucks.. but it’s not a big deal really..and the way they have that Red Dot cut out is perfect.. I’d love to take that thing Deer hunting…

I just purchased a 940 Pt. Would you recommend running slugs to break it in or can you shoot some 1200fps bird shot?
