A look at Bic pens and mechanical pencils. The folks over at Bic sent me some stuff and I'm finally getting around to looking at it. From the ubiquitous (no pun intended) Bic ball point pen to the new extra-tough mechanical pencils, Bic hits the mark for creating good quality, consumer pens.

You brought me right back to high school with those classic Bic pens! You forget how well they work and for the price you can't beat em! Thanks for the fun review.

Finally! A writing tool reviewer with nice handwriting. Thanks a lot. I'm gonna look for those pencils. But I'm not sure if I can use them as I wish. They are very colorful and I have a 9 years old daughter who thinks that every lovely colored object in the house, belongs to her.

I've never seen those extra strong mechanical pencils before. I used to love drawing with a ballpoint pen in art class at school and of course it was always a Bic Crystal as they are so reliable, cheap and available in several colours. Right now I appear to be sans Bic, but not for long as I want one of those pencils!

My fav is the Atlantis. Who hadn’t used the ubiquitous Bic Crystal ? It’s kind of an American icon...
  • I tried many brands of pens. I recently went back and will remain with Bic.

What really scares the hell out of me is when you see the message on a product which says " NEW AND IMPROVED " and there was never nothing wrong with the product to begin with because you were using it for years.

well I believe everybody have done doodles at least once in life with bic pens :) they're everywhere you need to write something, they're part of our life :D and I've been discovering them as an awesome artistic tool  to me, bic pens is where all my love for pens started :3

I just purchased the Bic Re New. It's an aluminum Cristal. Refillable. Definately one for my collection.
  • I absolutely love the 0.9mm pencils, they are my favorite!!!! for pens I like 0.5mm points better but for pencil, it has to be thick :D
  • @Park_Place
Cristals are like the cockroach of pens, no matter how many you destroy, they'll always be there with seemingly infinite ink
  • Bic Cristal. Probably the BEST ball pen EVER. Perhaps the only ball pen that provides a similar ball pen writing-quality is the Parker JOTTER but this is a different class of pen as it is more on the luxury side.

Thank you for the wonderful video! I bought the BIC pencils based on your awesome review here! :) And so happy with them! :) Have you also made a review on Papermate mechanical pencils 0.7mm? :) Thank you again! :)
  • Is there anyone who has not at some point in their lives used (drawn) Bic? Thanks to these wonderful pens I learned to draw in stead of maths.

Those bic crystal or some say byro? Is very good for sketching or a ballpoint art, i used to use snowman ballpoint pen(indonesian brand) but the bic is just too good and Rp11.000 for 3? Is just too good of a deal

hi! cannot find an explanation for this... why some bic has written "bic medium" on it and the writing is not embossed like the original? is it different from the original? and if yes, how? thanks!
