Try bacon grease instead of oil. Drain the grease into a glass jar. If you put it in an ice box with water and flip it upside down all the trash will float out. Drain it when the fat gets solid. Eggs will taste way better with that grease.i cook eggs Sammy's all the time. Fat does not rot. Ppl preserved food with it for thousands of yrs. I leave mine on the counter non refrigerated
