  • R.I.P. Werner Stocker, his portrayal of Darius was just extraordinary.

Nothing beats Grayson Smiling as he loses his head. Great villain.

Man that part where Darius says "I am Darius, you won't need that" gets me every time.

"There can be only one." is among the TV quote greats (along with "Live long and prosper.")
  • Grayson was so impressed with Tessa saying kill me now. Lol "Truly remarkable" Dude was like wow and he has taste in great women.Grayson was impressed with Duncan. Chose not to hurt Tessa cause she was so brave and loyal. Grayson was my favorite villain.
  • This was the episode when the series took it up a notch and got into high gear and produced some classic shows.

Grayson: „Another century and you might have beat me!“ 💪🏻 The one and only series that did better than the movies, in my opinion!

This was a game changer. After defeating this guy our boy MC just entered the God league of immortals.

Grayson to me was one of the very best Highlander villains. Of all the immortals Duncan faced before or since, Grayson was the only one who he seemed to truly fear.

Love the finale. Grayson hadn't any regard for mortal life, or civilians, but he still had respect for other warriors. He lived by the sword, and was prepared to die by it. When Duncan slashed and disarmed Grayson, he smiled. He didn't fear death. His last act was acknowledging/admiring Duncan as his superior.

What a great episode with a great ending. I love how Darius was giving Richie love advice.

When it became obvious that MacLeod was gonna win, i think HE looked more SHOCKED & SURPRISED than Grayson did!
  • @genmockify
With just this battle, he added 1400 years of power

perfect ep - great writing, dialogue, acting was restrained and natural...even the eurotrash villain was pretty believable

Macleod and Tessa play a perfect couple in love. I remember what that was like. It happens like that only once in life.
  • Man I am so glad I am watching this series it really has a lot of life lessons 😊☺😁
  • This was one of the very best episodes! Duncan being the Highlander and Bodyguard at same time. WoW!

Also the writers began to really flesh out Duncan as a character to the point that while Connor is, in many ways, an anti-hero while Duncan became a noble hero with an honor code. And Darius was brought in to serve as the old mentor which is one element that never really got replaced once he was killed off (Joe and Methos do serve a bit of the mentor role in the later seasons but not to the extent as Darius).
