As we age, our cheeks "drop" and add weight to the bottom of the face. I've always known I have a long oval face with a pointy chin. But now that I'm older my face is more oval because the extra weight in my lower face has eliminated my pointed chin. Things do change!
  • Oblong face here, and I'd NEVER go without some bangs. Sarah Jessica Parker would look less witchlike with some bangs. I've always wondered why the center part and no bangs with her, especially now that she's aging. Bangs can definitely soften the long face.

Wow, this video was really educational, and I realise that I have a round face and not oblong. I like that you got straight to the point. Thank you.

definitely see the heart in you, I originally thought round heart, but as I saw your face with the shapes that did change. Definitely the heart tho.
  • Great video , thank you. I’m about to go get my hair cut , my curly hair in this Mediterranean humid weather is driving me nuts. I got some good ideas from this video. 👏

The amount of space between the top of the hairline and the top of the head is important too. With a round face, and not much visual space above the hairline a centre part with hair hanging down is very unflattering. I look best with some height on top either a half or full updo with some tendrils for softness. As you age you definately want to pull the eye up, not down. These long centre part hairstyles don't really look good on very many people, in my opinion. Agree about bangs on round faces being a no no. Would like to see a video with normal people not celebrities. Thanks for the video.

This is very helpful. I could never figure out my shape. Would you please do a video on why conditioner makes fair fall post wash? As soon as I apply conditioner to my hair after wash I lose so many strands of hair. What ate some tips to avoid this?
