If the Honda E comes out with a bit bigger battery, I will take that car over any of the electric cars on the market right now. Love that car, but was to small battery for that price. 😥
  • @p.k.7111
Thomas, you are the only car journalist I would trust with my money. Will be for sure taking your opinion into consideration while buying new car. Thanks for the great job and good luck with the channel!
  • @kungula
thank you Thomas for your objective comparison reviews. I hope you can soon compare the EV 6 to one of his competitors.
  • @daveh9415
I really want to like the ID3, but I can't. On the other hand, the interior of the Honda e, is just superb.
  • @dylanbland
I bought a Honda E and I’m loving it. You’re not wrong about the range - it’s terrible. I charge the car every night at home and it hasn’t let me down yet - BUT you just can’t imagine it being any less - it would be totally unusable. Hopefully when the car is 2-3 years old (or older!) the battery holds up 😬
  • The Honda’s so cool , I wish it had more range but I would live with the inconvenience rather than buy the VW ! The VW just to conventional and stinks of cost cutting with cheap materials , they didn’t even finish painting the underside of the bonnet ! , I don’t care if you never lift it I’ll know it’s cheaply finished .
  • @Darx97
I love the Honda e, but the price and low range is not sounding good, hope this changes with future models
  • @julesflys
Thanks for a great and in-depth review. i am now awaiting a delivery date for my ID3 very excited
  • @f1b1777
You forgot something about the Honda E it’s Rear View Mirror ….it’s a screen showing the outside rear Without seeing any of the interior of the car . Like the Land Rover .
  • @-Derp-
4:28 i agree thomas, it would be very easy to move the charging port to behind the honda logo. same setup, remote open, flap gois up, not down, protecting the port from rain etc.
  • @Backwardlooking
Yes. I also agree with you Thomas regarding the VW’s bland styling. The Honda e actually resembles my Golf Mk 1, more than the Mk 1 Civic. All subsequent Golfs lost my purchasing after they decided to style in-house. Aesthetics are important to car enthusiasts. A real pity that Honda insisted upon a totally unrealistic battery size. Even city dwellers wish to escape to the countryside!.
  • @Jitenu
You invented the new 'Heel-toe'. "Knee-heat"
  • @xsassan
Impressive car review. Probably the best in my opinion. Thanks
  • In Perth (Scotland) i have only recently saw a solitary Honda e , but have saw a good number of id3 on the go. think the honda is too pricey for people ?
  • @kitlai768
I’d choose the Honda-e because it’s so much more quirky & has so much more character. The ID3 is too vanilla and would go unnoticed, however, if practicality is what you ‘need’ then of course, it’s the obvious choice. For a 2nd runaround fun car, a car I’d look fwd to driving in, it’s going to be the Honda.
