On my rest day in Leh, I embarked on an unforgettable journey, exploring the mystical beauty of Ladakh. From ancient monasteries to bustling markets, every moment was a treasure trove of experiences. Let me take you through the highlights of my day covering the Top 5 places to visit around Leh:

Leh Palace: Perched atop a hill, the Leh Palace offered breathtaking vistas of the surrounding landscape. As I wandered through its historic corridors, I felt a connection to the past—the echoes of kings and queens who once ruled this land.

Shey Monastery: Nestled in the serene folds of the Himalayas, the Shey Monastery exuded tranquility. The vibrant prayer flags fluttered in the crisp mountain air, and I marveled at the intricate murals that adorned the walls. From the monastery’s vantage point, I gazed upon the valley below, feeling both small and significant in this vast expanse.
