Crab: Yeah Shedding is fun but it all changed when the stingray nation attacked. Only the sharks the Master of hunting can stop them. But when we need them the most They vanished..

I think the crab pile is a survival mechanism, where the crab has some awareness that if enough crabs are on top of you, you are less likely to be eaten. So the crab gets on the pile, and hopes that other crabs can be convinced to get on the pile on top of them before they're eaten. It's like a literal pyramid scheme but made of crabs instead of poor financial decisions.

I remember the local aquarium when I lived in Myrtle Beach had a stingray petting tank that was usually crowded, but after Steve Irwin died, there was NOBODY there who wanted to pet them except me. The rays came flocking to me for pets like slimy little puppies. Lovely animals.

I went scuba diving in the Bahamas years ago, and there was a stingray hunting using our flashlights' light.

That was VERY VERY misleading about the crab cemetery. The bodies on the seafloor are molted empty shells, not a "crab cemetery" like was mentioned. If they were attacked by stingrays, then there would not be mounds of "bodies" left behind.

From what I heard part of the reason Steve Erwin Died was because they removed the spine from the wound. Like removing a knife from a stab victim the weapon is sometimes the only thing keeping the blood in. With it being as close to his heart as it was by removing it he would have bled out. In addition Rays are actually very friendly creatures. If you have ever been to an aquarium with an open air tank where they have de-barbed them for people to pet I would recommend trying it. I was at an open air tank for petting sharks and rays and they just loved coming to me and my brother because we were gentle with them.

  • “71% of sharks just disappeared” Huh of course they just randomly vanished. Nothing to do with us not at all!
  • The crabs: "How could this happen to us?" The rays: "Because this…" putting on sunglasses "Is a sting operation. YEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!"
