She has only been ridden a few times so we still keep her in the round pen.

I came out in the yard one night just in time to watch her throw a bobcat about 10 feet in the air with those horns. She is really sweet with people though. A handicapped lady fell in the yard once and the cow came over and let her grab her horns to help her stand up.

This is a longhorn and they are very gentle and often ridden. Most other cows are not so rider friendly. This cow lives in my yard, not a pasture. She leaves me presents on my deck. She is accustomed to people and expects to be petted by everybody who comes in the yard.

Nice! My dad has a dairy farm but I wouldn't think he'd let me try to ride a cow because he'd think it'd be dangerous and even if he did, the cows are afraid of me!

Stars not quite sure about this "riding" thing. But she seems better adapted to it more than Sparkplug was :)
