Girl Talk | Sarah Millican

Hey Sarah. It's just been 12 months since my partner passed away. One of the most wonderful times we had during her final stay in hospital was watching your You Tube Shows. Nikki especially loved Home Bird. When we met, the one thing that captured my heart was her smile and it was so wonderful to see that same smile and hear her goofy laugh during what was going to be our last days together. I fell in love with her smile and just watching her face light up made all the difference. Nikki had a long hard illness and after all the time she spent in hospital and all the pain and suffering, seeing her smile again and hearing her laugh was a miracle. One afternoon, we ended up with most of the ward staff clustered around Nikki's bed ( Nikki was a nurse at an aged care facility before she became ill so we already knew most of the staff on that ward) all watching you on the laptop and everyone laughing so hard it was so heartwarming. So I have to say again, you are so wonderful and cheerful that you brought a huge smile and happiness to an amazing woman. A woman that spent her life caring for others. I believe you and Nikki are kindred spirits. I keep thinking that you will say the one word that Nikki would always say to me if I was acting up or just being goofy, she would say " CHILD! " . We would love to see you here in Australia when this covid thing has ended and yes, I am already on your mailing list waiting to find out when you will be here. Please dont ever change, stay safe and take care..

What I love most about Sarah is how genuinely funny she is and how easily she responds off the cuff to the crowd. Champion.

so today I weighed myself and was quite pleased that I was 12 stone exactly. My mum pointed out that 12 stone is a lot for someone of my height. But it's more important to be a nice round number than to be thin.

I love Sarah's honesty! Especially about the magazines. I feel like women have so many unattainable goals and expectations that are placed on us by the media and when an individual woman doesn't feel like she's living up to those expectations but she sees another woman that is, rather than supporting that woman and telling her that she's amazing, we tear her down. I did a extra credit project for a sociology class when I was in college. And every time I was out I would compliment a woman. Whether it was on the heels she was wearing or the outfit she had on or the fact that she was trying to keep her kids in line at the grocery store. I was just saying you look great or you're doing a really great job. At first they kind of looked at me like it was strange. But then I would explain I feel like women don't compliment each other enough. Men compliment us all the time but they have an ulterior motive. But women don't do that. I just wanted you to know that I think you look amazing today. The change and attitude was unbelievable! They would stand a little straighter, they would strut a little when they walked away, they would give me a big smile. There was one girl in a pencil skirt one day who was just really put together, She looked amazing. And I said you look so great today! And she started to cry and I said oh I'm sorry I didn't mean upset you and she said no I feel so bloated and gross today and you just made me feel so much better! It took two seconds of my day But it made her see herself in a completely different light! If women would bind together instead of tearing each other down we could literally take over the world! ❤❤❤

This is a pretty good show, beats most male counterparts by a mile. Sarah is so feminine and comfortable you’d think she is an old friend visiting.
