    Good stuff! I think the reason why you can't get to destructively render the slices initially is because there are overlapping slice markers at the same position. If you pause the youtube video at 13.04 you can see there is no sample loaded at B-4, this is because of the accidental overlap of multiple slices. (Btw instead of right mouseclicking the waveform to menudive into destructively rendering the slices, you can also right mouse click the slice/sample list to the left of the waveform, one click faster ;-) ).
