Through the Bible | John 4 - Brett Meador

After encountering Jesus at the village well, a Samaritan woman rushes to share the good news with her fellow townspeople, resulting in many believing in Jesus. Later in John 4, we see an example of false faith from the people of Galilee, and conversely, true faith in action as a nobleman’s son is miraculously healed. As we watch all these events unfold, we see a beautiful model of evangelism, Jesus’ compassion on people from all walks of life, and where genuine faith comes from.

Thank you Pastor Brett. I love your teaching this morning because it was the teaching of the Woman at the Well. I’ve always identified with her, as a divorced woman myself, in sin and ashamed. God sought me out and saved me too, Hallelujah!! Bless The Lord Oh my soul, Bless His Holy Name. Amen.

@21:47 "One thing I love about the Lord is, if you really want to seek the Lord, you'll find the Lord... Even if you are misguided or taught wrongly...." Man, that is so true for my life. My parents were not in church, and were not reliable for any sort of spiritual guidance, so I had to seek older men and women of God inside the church. And though they were men and women of God (at least at that time!) they were still messed up sinners who taught me some weird doctrines. The church I attended had very questionable doctrine, etc. etc... AND YET, I found the Lord routinely as I sought him. Still do. Isn't the Lord amazing?

It's so hard to find a Bible-based common sense church. do you think the Lord is pleased with people like me who listen to sermons online and worship from home? I just can't find a church around me that isn't Laden with pride flags, and woke agendas. Female ministers, gay marriage, pro-abortion etc.

Not all that say Lord, Lord shall enter in to the kingdom but they that do the will of God, their has to be evidence of your salvation. Some think that as much as 1/2 of the church goers are false conversions. Just playing church but do not know the Lord.
