I covered an earlier build of Big Boy Boxing last year. This new version hasn't been released yet (I think it's releasing for Next Fest), but it's a lot of fun and it's got a bunch of new fighters to beat up!

Punchout: has you fighting quirky but otherwise generally serious boxers. This game: Fight a bunch of kids! Fight your local washed out failure! Fight a bloated barely conscious water-stuffed guy! Fight that weird man from the sewer!

I'm getting a 90's slapstick vibe from this game more than the 30's or 40's slapstick era.

That first boss looks like that 'brat' from Cats Don't Dance, similar attitude too it seems like.

Yet another in the great line of indie games born from the idea of “if they won’t make another game in my favourite series, I’ll do it myself!” The same school of thought that brought us such gems as Bug Fables, Pizza Tower, Antonblast, Axiom Verge, Wargroove, Blazing Chrome, Flipon, Lisa, Undertale, Omori, amd countless other great games! I’m so looking forward to this! Indie devs do what AAA don’t.

The cartoonish graphics of Cuphead, mixed with the absolute psychopaths from Punch-Out. A beautiful combo of Chaos.

Something about Mr. Adyltmen is so charming to me, just the realistic jank and mechanics are so unique, but titanic 5000 is such a good idea and also pretty fluid, but what it has that adyltmen doesn’t is the most GODLY soundtrack I’ve ever heard sweet goodness why the fricking fracking machine does it go so crazily hard

I like how the first fight basically pits you against the human equivalent of a Tinkaton

I hope we get to fight Titanic when he's lucid at some point. It hardly feels fair fighting someone who drank a near-lethal dose of water and chlorine. That being said, the animations are great with this. You can see the rage in Trigger Happy's face, you can tell exactly how Freezy Boy feels about his helmet getting knocked off, and you can see just how painful getting hit in the butt is for Coach Skank. This project is definitely one I'm gonna be following.

When the full game comes I would like to see a video about how many rule infractions each fighter has similar to the punch-out video.

When I saw the thumbnail I was thinking: "Is that Miss Dimple from Cats don't Dance?" and I was surprised to found it she basically is!

I see Trigger Happy already is chasing Aran Ryan's infraction record! Edit: Wearing a dress, a head accessory and high heels(which might just be one whole attire infraction), no clear line between her torso and legs, damaging the ring with her hammer, rage issues, obvious poor sportsmanship, and oh yeah THE GIANT FUCK OFF HAMMER, which is two infractions! One for bringing it in, one for actually using it. So... eight?????
