Harvesting my Daphne‘s Diary Magazine

Published 2024-03-29
I took off the cover last week and trimmed it down and made a glue book cover. Now I’m harvesting the inside pages for the bits and pieces that I really like to create interesting collage pages in my new little Daphne’s Diary glue book.

I won’t use every image I’ve taken, and I may use images from other Daphne’s diary magazines. I have three or four in various stages of being harvested. Sometimes I find that an image that I don’t particularly care about when I cut it out, works beautifully in a Layout . it may be the color is what I need for a background filler, or it might just stand out with the other images I’ve assembled. You just never know until you get started .

I’m adding the hashtag flip through Friday as I am definitely flipping through this entire magazine.

Thank you Kristina for the hashtag below is her channel ⬇️

Love all the pictures you chose. You have a good artistic eye😊
  • Those little mushroom faces/people are too much. I love what you're doing with this project. You've inspired me to harvest one you sent me. The guitars with old cans were a hoot. Hahhaha, those kids with critter heads CREEEEEP me out 😳 Lots of mini pictures for a mini glue book or mini journal, love the tiny pics of DD's covers, glad you kept some.So cool. That 3D book art (the train) is really beautiful

Hi Jeanne, you were on the right track regarding the language error. In Dutch it should be : "van". In English it means from. It is also written incorrectly in Dutch. What a beautiful photos of the Elfstedentocht. (The skating tour). We are longing for an Eleven Cities Tour here. The last one was driven in 1997. Far too long ago! We love Germany too. Germany is our favorite holiday destination. We go there almost every year. Or to Austria. Happy Easter Jeanne!🐰🐣❤
