Why You Are Not Experiencing the Presence of God

This was a great message and I felt like it was a spiritual whipping to me. I realize that in order to receive Gods presence or if you want his presence bad enough, you won’t be friends with the world. Either you are 100% team God or 100% team world there is no in between! Thank you John for sharing this message with us!

We need to be Holy as God is. How we speak, how we dress and how we conduct ourselves. Cant look like the world. Be simple and pure.

There’s freedom in Jesus Christ. Even as we are faced with our toughest battles. I’m a single mom raising my two children with special needs. I’m overwhelmed at times because they are all I have. I recently started homeschooling my sons because they were having so many issues in school including bullying. So my hours to work are limited. Every month I’m struggling, struggling to pay rent, struggling buying groceries, struggling to do it all. Yet God gives me strength. He will provide I have faith.

Amen. For the confirmation. My family saying I am being goody to shoes but I am trying to obey and be holy.

I agree with you on why so many have walked away from the faith, but a huge factor is that kids middle school and up are not being taught apologetics so they don’t know how to defend their faith or the Bible when they do get the college. Another thing that would really really help it preachers would get courageous and preach the whole Bible, especially Bible prophecy, considering the times were living in and the fear that people have right now, I cannot believe the pastors across America and the world are not preaching Bible prophecy at all

So true!!! I first experienced the true Presence of God, long before professing faith in Christ. Later, my sisters ushered me into the manifest Presence of the Almighty, when I was still young in Christ. Those experiences keep me in “the faith”, when others would have left, a longtime ago, after suffering all of the demonic attacks that I have, since my initial profession of faith in JESUS Christ.
