  • Hi Steve, have watched you for years and really appreciate your honest and relaxed style reviewing the current "arguments" over appliances "du jour' being fair to all sides. I love all gas cooking and have had both electric and gas experiences over 70 years of life. I have never felt that gas ovens were inferior in any way (for the way i cook)..actually grew up all electric because my mom was terrified of gas! I think it's the cook more than the stove that creates the magic!! Cheers

Very informative, the gentleman kinda reminds me of athlean-X. I have all electric now with a downdraft island cooktop( not a fan of it) but i was thinking of going duel fuel in my next house.

I live in hurricane country - so a gas stove is a MUST for cooking during a power outage. No home generator can power an induction cooktop!

I have an all gas oven and range I love it
  • Got dual 36” wolf two months ago, nothing but trouble from uneven flames which they told me nothing they can do about that. oven not showing right temperature inside is 350 and knob showed 400, open the oven door for 4 second temperature goes down 25 degree, everything I made in the oven came out wrong. Horrible experience so far. The burners flame has nothing to do with the knobs, you have to look at the flames and turn them to what you think is correct, ignoring the knob. Uploading a video very soon😢

I don’t know, you mention fumes on the cooktop as a major negative, but are pumping the gas oven as a positive without mentioning that downside. Kind of having it both ways, no?

Dual fuel touted as the best cooking appliance??? You mean induction.... the most hyped appliance
