Beautiful, would like to see a hidden compartment coffee table with wood and epoxy top to hold extra supplies that don't fit in your shelf

Mate! Great design especially the legs. Elegant joinery! I love your use of epoxy! However, it really brought out the trypophobia in me - goosebumps for a few hours!😹
  • Apologies for the necro thread (never used epoxy, but thinking about it)…could you just use tape around all the edges (like the leg) instead of constructing a box to pour the resin, or was this made only because the holes were completely through the wood itself?

A bit of distance between your microphone and noisy machinery would make it better for your viewers.
  • I'm thinking of mixing the wood dust into epoxy to retain the woods natural colors when filling the worm holes, would that work you think?

Nice video, the router jig is something I need to build! On the smaller holes that you spread/wiped on to fill, did you simply sand the excess off or did you router that off first? I am doing a table with lots of small worm tracks and trying to figure out the best way to get the excess off.

Did you use the same deep pour epoxy on the smaller voids as well? If so any issues doing that? Im working on a table that has alot of small cracks in the face of the wood that I want to fill with Epoxy as well as a large deep void.
  • I like it all, but I really like those legs! If that pour was a bad idea, then what's the solution?

Is worth the process? I mean if one would want to make money doing this. I was looking into making my own?

Do you fill them up with clear epoxy or do you mix the blue pigment you used with it?
  • Hi savage work, doing a similar project, can I ask what the name of the red tape you used??

Lost me, when the ryobi saw was in use.
