It's crazy because every song of theirs I don't like enough to go out of my way to listen to always sound so much better with each listen.
  • Why are these guys so fucking good yet so unknown and under appreciated. Ive seen them both at a festival and at a small, grungy dive bar and they had a truly magnificent energy and theatrics often lost on contemporary artists. If only I weren’t in so little-visited Iowa I would see them way more.

This needs to be released as an official live album. I can’t get enough of this video.

Saw this show in SLC 3 days ago. It was heaven. This band is in their prime.

Best band I’ve never heard of. I came across them awhile back and am simply blown away by their live performances. The more I see them the better they get

Also, this version of army of ancients is epic!!!!
  • @justindobbs5600
My favorite band of all time, their vocal harmonies are unreal and every band member is more than exceptional. The guitar player and bass player are both phenomenal vocalists and and so good with their syncopation, this band is extraordinary and it’s unbelievable they’re so underground

Man, I've always found the "growls/screams" in the beach and army of ancients to be so epic - Even better live. So sick!

  • @nossolg
I would buy this live recording. So well recorded and getting harmonies that good playing live is no small feat.

This should have so many more views than it does. 32k Sept. 2019. Crazy how underrated this band is.

Dr. Dog just slayed their set last night in Chattanooga at the Moon River Festival. That's why I'm here now. New fan. Great band. They carried amazing energy throughout their time on stage.

Scott, it was great to hear the shout out to your dad. My father NEVER ONCE came to see me play. He did not support me in my (ill-fated) pursuit of my art. He died when I was 40 disappointed that I was not what he was. You obviously have a supportive family, and I love to see that. You are blessed.
