14:46 Everyone, who has fixed a portable electric device, has experienced this moment. This heart breaking moment where a screw teleports to the nether dimension. Never to been seen again.

Man, do I love learning all about these antique electronics that I have no intention of buying or fixing. It's truly an incredible feeling.

Who else is gonna watch this entire video and doesn’t even own a single iPod...

Everytime I hear the words "SOMEONE'S BEEN IN HERE," I get filled with joy.

A lot of people, including myself, have never owned an iPod in their lives, but you're wanting me to snag a 7th gen classic and mod the hell out of it. Thank you so much!

I worded the 5G section weird saying they only charge by FireWire. I meant they can’t sync over firewire, charge only. They do everything via USB tho! And also I am a stinkin liar and there is no metal cover thing on the 5G's either and I'm simply off my face. BEST REPAIR GUIDE 2020 EVERYONE.

Your videos inspired me to fix my 5th gen. I used this video in particular to learn how to do it. After a decade of being broken my 5th gen works again! I replaced the smashed screen and put in a new battery.

I run a little iPod repair business and this is a treat to watch. Upgraded a 7th gen with an iFlash board and got a water damaged 7th gen and perfectly working 5th gen in return

“Imma do the mini too” Warms my heart. I’ve been tearing down minis for years now, since I was a kid. Love the things, so glad people are starting to recognise the beauty of iPod, this channel’s done so much good, even if it might be bumping up the prices of iPods a little, that’s okay, because so many people are discovering their beauty, how fun it is to fuck around with them, modding them for good reasons, modding them for a giggle, and most importantly, restoring ones that would have just been thrown away by some people.

14:49 the way he just contemplates in silence after a screw just went to orbit
  • @NekoMichi
Ever since discovering this channel, every time I open something up for repairs I can almost hear your voice in the back of my mind cracking jokes about whatever it is I'm tearing down, and it's bloody hilarious.

I just resurrected my 4th gen U2 pod, so cheers! It’s been broken for nearly ten years now, and was too scared to try fixing it but I saw this video and gave it a go. Replaced the batt, it works great again!
