good old American Greed..........gets you every time !!
  • This is depressing me. I signed my lease for the longest term available to postpone the next rent hike as long as possible. If they raise it again I'm gonna be on the street.
  • Sky rocketing rent = increase homeless population = higher crime. San Francisco is a great example of that. Problem is our leader's & politicans cater to the lobbyists & interest group's leaving those without a voice to defend for themselves.😥
  • Do the money addicted gentrifiers have a time frame for when rents will be ten to twenty grand a month? And will that be enough to satisfy their addiction to money?
  • Locals and new residents need to understand Florida does not care nor does it help poor to middle class, it's all about the rich and greedy down here.

My rent went up from 840 to 1500 in 4 years. These rent increases are criminal.

Greed is going to destroy every country on this planet.
  • If the law says you can raise rent as high as the sky ...... My old apartment in 2020 rented at $1,000. And now it rents at 1600. 675 sq ft no washer dryer. Hook up. They'll be filling those low wage jobs fast with people taking on second jobs.
  • This is what you get with “small government” minimal regulations, that and Surfside

People are living in cars 🚗 and storage units due to high rents...housing crash is coming

I'm a landlord and this is so sad and inhumane to me😔
  • @RJames-uy2mt
Landlords can only charge what the market is willing to pay. I would feel like a scumbag raising rent that fast on my tenants though.
  • WOW, I love this girl for trying and pushing for better Equal Equality for us Renters out Here. Including ME!
  • The landlords, not the residents are going to California your Florida. Good luck from San Diego. $2300 for a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apt.

This is illegal just like price gauging in cases of emergencies, but it happens because it was designed this way

While I don’t live in Tampa mine is going up 36 percent. Criminal in my opinion. I have to wonder how many homeowners mortgages have went up that much. Preying on the vulnerable, just because the market allows.🤬

I myself have been displaced by a rental increase. I have now been on the streets living in my car since November of 2021. Something has to give.
