The Longer Nano 12 watt

Published 2024-03-09
Testing out the Longer Nano 12 watt, the latest laser created by Longer. The machine is a galvo style diode available in 6 and 12 watt versions. It is very compact and lightweight.

You are the go to man all about Lasers! šŸ‘
  • Thanks for the review, I have the B1 30W also, but I was thinking about the Nano.

Look at that beautiful Shapako in the background!!

Looks like a nice little unit. In your opinion, would this be a good portable laser for using at craft shows assuming the proper protections are in place?
  • Do you plan on doing more videos with it?. And did they send the slade and rotary with it?
  • Im looking to engrave some woodworking projects like cutting boards, this seems like it would be great at that. Taking the plate on the bottom out i should be able to place the machine on top of it and get the logo in the corner right?
  • @signptr
Looks very much like "Laserpecker " same size and look
  • You answered my outstanding question. You can only engrave on annodized or metal that has a spray coating. I am glad I didn't buy this machine.

I donā€™t want to engrave metal, but rather mark it with names, fingerprints etc. I am looking at using sterling silver, coated stainless steel and aluminium. Thanks for your information

Seem like Longer is a Scam?
  • @nehanichikahuak
You testing the 12W version which is 500$ as you said,, 300$ is for the 6w,. at least make the effort to enter the price correctly , it's not that complicated!

If youā€™re using lightburn, would one have to purchase the galvo license, or does it work with gcode ??
