  • gotta love how the sniper, the long range class, has a better and more reliable melee combo than the pyro, the close range class.
  • Name: Pyro Mudskipper (Becauce the mudskipper is a fish with legs who can live out of the water.)
  • 1 of 2 things have happened: 1. The community gaslight Eric Smith into believing Gasoline not making people wet wasn't intentional. 2. Eric Smith can only make balance changes if they are bugs, and he gaslight Valve that making gasoline wet was a bug fix. These have interestjng implications for the future of tf2 weapon balance changes or litterally nothing.

the pyrosharks have walked onto land, evolution is real ‼️‼️
  • @Cinnamowo
Me: I sure hope nothing unexpected happens after Fish just made two videos on Neon Annihilator Valve: pulls out comically large gas passer bug fix
  • @ConTheSpider
I elect that we dub this playstyle “Landsharking” or just call the pyros here landsharks
  • @Madafrn
Hope this combo is named: "Fart & spark"
  • The fact that this is a bug fix is insane to me. 7 years we've had the gas passer in the game, 7 years has it been known as the worst weapon (outside of mvm), and only now is this happening. On another note, the fart joke weapon is now the wet fart joke weapon.
  • This is technically the first balance change we've gotten since 2019.
  • FYI they don’t even have to take damage to get set on fire by the gas passer. The rocket jumper and sticky jumper also set people on fire.
  • @Spyachungus
Fish stick on a stick was so tired that he forgot atom smash also has water. Baha waba!
  • One thing I've noticed about the new combo is that it makes Pyro feel a bit more generalist, for lack of a better term. The combo's fun, and an instant 156 damage is nothing to sneeze at, but in situations where you can't really pull it off, they can still be used to support your team. The Neon Annihilator can be used in a pinch to remove sappers, and even though your mileage may vary, the Gas Passer can be used as a fairly okay area denial tool. It may not deal as much damage as your typical combo Pyro loadout, and it may not be as effective in helping your team/engies as Pybro, but it allows you to dip into both of those areas at the same time. I think that's kinda neat.

Never thought I’d live to see the day a Bad Weapon Academy episode becomes outdated.
  • @micahh9351
Other advantages to this loadout: -Gas is hard to see through, making it a good smoke grenade -neon annihilator also deals damage to sappers Personally, id take a more pybro approach to this

Yay Pyro has a new combo that rewards him for ambushing players and using his flamethrower. Which is great since he wasn't really encouraged to do this before. (This is satire.)
