0:14 Julia auditioning for Misery before Stephen King even finished writing it. 🔪

Julia was such a joy! We’re very lucky to watch her create beautiful dishes today.

Years ago, she invited herself to join our table in the bar at The Mansion (Dallas, TX). Imagine our delight. 😅

I wish she had left a memoir or something about her WW2 experiences. What an incredible woman, a real life Jane Bond.

"I'm already to make... fiisssh today!" Love it. Hey., I've cooked after having a few myself!

I love watching Julia cooking. Thank you for posting her video.

Her turning her nose up at domestic white wines made me laugh. This was before/just around the time Napa wines started receiving international accolades. They didn’t have the good reputation they have now so it makes sense that she wouldn’t necessarily recommend them in this show. Plus being someone who cooks in the French style, I’m sure she preferred French wines anyway. This was a fun episode thanks for uploading!

So relieved when she said tuna is best raw, was prepared to get on my soapbox if she'd cooked it :) I'd try this with swordfish, though I think I'd prefer cod or some other flaky whitefish cooked gently.

Seeing her with that 🗡️ and big knife 🔪 had me laughing. Only Julia could of pulled that off.😊 I always loved her sense of humor. That's a big fish. I once caught a baby shark.we cooked it It was delicious 😋 I'm game to try this. I saw your comment sis. Yes i remember Fridays being fish day too, unless mom had to work. Then Dad would go on Saturday to get fresh fish. And he cleaned them and mama would cook them. Yum.😊 Vee.🙂👋👣

Silly me. After running a fish market in New Bedford for 15 years, I clicked on this actually expecting a monkfish recipe. The halibut is as close as this episode got to that.

I COULD Eat that. 👍. Friday was fish day in my family. If my mom had to work, my father would get up on Saturday morning and go to the fish market get fresh whole fish and he would bring it back and clean it himself and mom would fry it. I love cod, salmon, tuna, and cat fish. But I'll eat other fish. I've never had sword or fish cooked like this. I've had tuna steaks. After watching this, I'm game to try this.😊😊.✌🕯💕🤗🌻🦋🙂👋👣. Neita.🙏
