Unhappy workers do not make a productive/efficient workforce. Study after study shows this. Studies also show that employees are more productive working from home. Keep a hybrid schedule, don't eliminate remote work completely. If you do, you can almost guarantee higher turnovers and less productivity, compounding with an inability to attract the best of the best. But yeah, regressing to an antiquated, obsolescent policy that no one asked for is definitely a good idea, especially if they're union employees 🙄

Being expected to go to work. What’s next ?
  • It's all about money. She need her numbers to look good. I'm glad I was able to leave working for the City. No more toxic cubicles gossip, toxic management, miserable co workers because everyone hates their job. No more trifling rides on the express train and pissy underground walk ways. Next move country life GEORGIA

this sounds like an expensive tax increase, the mayor alleges new spending for lit& swanky new office spaces, upgraded computers will be needed, will office furniture be upgraded, compensation benefits are new & improving, & other additional rewards give the odor of mendacity that in-office is better. Meanwhile, Philly’s current population has dropped to 1.534 million as of December 2023, & is still falling & 1st-class failing?

She going to have a bunch of stressed out worker’s. Struggling with childcare and travel cost. She never mentioned a cost of living pay increase. This woman is stuck back in 80 or 90 when cost of living wasn’t as high. Mature adults don’t need to be Micromanaged.

🤨😑🤬So if I'm diagnosed with: PTSD I have to go to center city an go to work???🤔NO!!!! First of all you are doing a good job as Mayor but you don't have that power to demand of anyone, it can be done from home which is safer!!!! Im retired and glad of it, I would never come to center city to work after the way it is being taken care of: crime has to be curbed before I return to center city, more police presence is needed, stop the continuation of tickets that are given for no reason!!! It's more but the city of Philadelphia has to be turned around the right way!!!!!
