First-time mom Sandra is very protective over her 3 new kittens, especially smallest boy Rudy, who's front paw is bent at an odd angle. He won't let that stop him from being the most adventurous brother though!

"Rudy isn't thinking about what he can't do, he's just trying to figure out what he CAN do!" That's inspirational as heck

It amazes me that even though Rudy was born with a bodily defect, his mom didn’t abandon him. Usually if an animal gives birth to a baby with a birth defect or sickness, then the mom will abandon it. This shows how great of a mom Sandra is. 😁 Edit: I love the comments you all are sharing. It’s true that without competition for resources mother animals will be less likely to abandon their children, however, the reason I commented this in the first place is because I’ve never seen a case where an animal mother actually cares for a sick/birth defected child until this video. I actually have an aunt who is a dog breeder and every one of her female dogs who has had puppies with something wrong with them has been abandoned and the mother would not feed them. My aunt had to bottle feed them to try and get them to survive, but it was only about a 30% chance they would live if she had to resort to that. Just wanted to share why I commented before. If you read this far thank you and have a great day.

"This is your uncle Frank. he's spiky and doesn't move much, but me and him go way back"

I like that after Rudy was healed, with two other identically looking siblings, the mother still knows which one is Rudy. I suppose it’s not hard to tell which one is the most hyper

The narrator is wonderful. I felt like I was back in the sixties watching Disney's Wide World of Color.

I’ve had siamese cats and they are mysteriously beautiful. They are wicked smart, wicked nimble, very conversational, and loyal and loving. The little white kittens that slowly darken are similar to the Dalmatian puppies who slowly get their spots as they age. The narrator is perfect, and reminds me of the old cartoons where the narrator talks about everything we see on the screen.

6:11 I'm glad everything worked out for Rudy. No one wants to have to live with a limb that bends the wrong way.
