This week I am getting the shop truck ready for the annual trip to Easter Jeep Safari and before I hit the road I have a few items to take care of. I need to rebuild the steering, and I am planning on testing the Dynatrac Rebuild able Ball Joints during this years trip.

  • Ian, I have always enjoyed your honest approach. It’s easy to be sponsored and say everything is awesome. It’s another to tell the truth about what you use and recommend

Thanks for sharing your time and talent. Thanks for bringing us along in your shop while you do this. It was fun
  • Awesome episode Ian, can’t wait to see how the rebuildable ball joints hold up and really that’s the only way to give an honest review, thanks for doing that! Your episodes are always the best and I enjoy the different projects that you’ve built and really love the look of this Jeep truck!

Just came across this channel as a youtube suggestion. Good to see you still at it. Went through my highschool years watching you on tv. Kinda lost track between tv show changes, channel changes by our provider, kinda stopped watching tv and so on. Its almost like some weird family reunion coming across this video lol
  • @aalevie

  • I have uniball UCAs from Total Chaos on my Tundra I like the fact of more flex and and if something fails its still held together. The fancy word you where looking for was "Ball Joint Orifice" 😁

  • @steveornot
Awesome! Shop truck is my favorite rig of yours.
  • Wow amazing man keep up the great builds man I’ve been working so hard trying to get a head to build up our 4Runner slowly but surely that’s for sure
  • Keep up the awesome work I've followed your work from extreme 4x4 to present your awsome bro

Love it! Perfect timing...I need to do ball joints and histeer on my build as well. A little trick I use to keep the raw steel patina and keep it from rusting, I spray it with matte clear. Looks raw and rich with out the glossy wet look. Cheers!

Honestly i love our Dynatrac ball joints they are great on our 37s in our JK

Replaced the factory ball joints on an 06 Ram 2500 with Dynatrac joints many years ago before I had my shop. Did in the the driveway and boy did it kick my butt. After watching you having difficulty with the install I don't feel quite as bad. The factory's were shot at 50k and the truck now has over 300k all of which has been on 37s and still no play to speak off. I don't know that I am ever going to get to try out the rebuild feature.

Would really like your opinion and a video comparison between the dyna trac and EMF balljoints. I juat put new joints in my dodge and already wish i juat spent the money on great ones. Kryptonite joints are getting tested now.
