    I dont fish much but I believe you gotta leave the head of tail on for transport (so they can count ho many you got) so this looks like the best way to clean them before bringing them home ! I dont eat fish but if I remember right this fish is often cooked with the skin on so you are pretty much done ...only thing I really like is some walleye fish and chips tho haha my mom would take pretty much anything I would catch tho (trout,walleye,pike fish,cat fish..) thats pretty much what you can eat out here thats is edible (you could eat some yellow perch with some motivation cleaning it) or be lucky and catch a landlocked salmon (writing this comment was interesting since im french canadian and ive learn some english fish names haha)

    Different. Effective. I make first cut at bottom of first gill/throat latch and sever top of that gill at spine. One pull removes guts and belly skin/pectoral fins. But i will try this with larger trout.
