HALO jump from a Blackhawk, and the guy isn''t HALO qualified, OK. Let's go rescue a hostage in broad daylight with 2001 weapons and no night vision. And hopefully the entire Air Force TOC will be watching college basketball in the rec room during the entire op. THIS MOVIE IS IDIOTIC BEYOND MEASURE.
  • They have no equipment that would be used by tier-one operators, the jtac would be a CCT in the 24th STS (which is a tier-one component) , he wouldn't have to be told what to do or how to do his job, and he would be treated as if he was a part of the team. Did I also mention that he would be HALO and HAHO qualified?
  • @cshader2488
I hate it when these "Tier 1 Operators" are on patrol behind enemy lines just having casual conversations about bullshit like they're on a weekend hike.
  • This whole clip makes me NOT want to see this garbage. If a Unit or DEVGRU mission the TACP would come from the 24 STS & would be treated with much respect from the team. They would’ve all jumped at the same time and not talk BS as each goes out the door. And all that talking while walking on patrol is BS.

The technical inaccuracies in this movie drove me crazy. The people who created this movie did a huge disservice to the people in the military and those that served in the roles they are portraying.

Stuff like this gives me so much more appreciation for the Tarkov RAID movie.
  • @jwarrior2011
As a non-veteran/service member I love how movies like these never exist in a universe where the main character has watched war movies and learned how not to sound like an asshole
  • So beyond ridiculous that Hollyweird thinks Tier 1 Operators would be okay with a new JTAC that by the conversation they all think is undertrained. This isn't how professional SOF Soldiers operate. I was a SOCA Radio Operator in the early 90's and our three man teams would provide commo support between forward deployed forces and USASOC or JSOC. No NCO or Officer with a long tab ever treated me this way and I was only a Basic Parachutist Commo dude. Will never pay money for this silliness.

I spent a minute in Panama as a line medic, not tier one but those light infantry boys and lrrps guys go on long walks and need a guy with moleskin and motrin. The Jungle in any country is absolutely unforgiving, I remember even the vegetation could attack you in it's own way. Member Ft.Sherman...GREEN HELL!!!! Medic...Lightfighter....Jungle Expert....these guys don't have a bit of face camo, anything to break up the pattern of their uniforms or weapons. They would stick out like sore thumbs....

I wish they would at least make a basic attempt at accuracy. You can't talk in a helicopter like that because it's too loud and they'd all be wearing ear pro. No NVG mounts or NVGs? You're not going to be doing an O2 jump out of an unpressurized helicopter, otherwise they would have already had their masks on or have passed out. Also you would already have been briefed on the mission, you wouldn't be finding out what it is on the Helo ride over lol. All of these inaccuracies and I was only able to make it 1 minute into the trailer.
  • All that secrecy, just to walk around and chat like they are on a hike.

    * During the insertion * > Hey, who are you? >Let me explain how MFF works!
  • @tipsovr2626
Jumping out of a helicopter at high altitude with no O2 or night vision seems like a good plan. Gravity only affects non tier 1 guys.

WHO THE HELL is the damn advisor on these movies? Or did they use ChatGPT to get their "facts". These movies make me wann pukle with how shit their research is.
  • @VitoAB
Don't these movie producers, writers, and tech advisors ( if any were onboard here) know that scenes, equipment, dialogue, and tactics are gonna be scrutinized by active and ex-spec ops personnel? Waltzing about a jungle path that looks like was shot in Disneyland and yammering BS and insults at the newbie during a Tier 1 op? Yeah right. Hell, even the non military civilians can spot a shyte movie.
