What a cultured, sophisticated and fine woman. She's naturally quick-witted and so much fun. As someone who learns English as a second language, it's incredibly enjoyable listening to her talk. I could listen to this all day.

Saw Fiona Shaw performing The WASTELAND in Adelaide. I will never forget it. Brilliant.
  • Amazing interview. It is today that I discover that Fiona is a woman of theater and not just Cinema/Tv. She approached the questions and like in other OxfordUnion Q&As, with such depth that adds so much to my view of her as one the few self-aware people in this industry.

Fiona Shaw, I must say that in Mountains of the Moon, you looked absolutely beautiful, from head to foot, in that very tastefully done love scene with "Burton". Credit to you, the lighting technician and the director, oh, and Patrick Bergin...
