I'm a huge fan, like many, of Pete Thorn. Not just how fantastic he is as a guitar player but how incredibly knowledgeable he is not with just guitar theory but his explanation of how he presents the gear he is showing on his channel. It's no wonder he has such a following. I've been influenced over the years by the gear he uses and describes which has helped my workflow from home as well. In this tune I wrote "Thorn In The Brain" I used this title like the saying "Thorn In The Side" but with a positive edge to it haha...He's always in mind or in my brain with his playing style. Now that being said this song doesn't sound like a Pete Thorn tune but I did use a drum machine he uses, Steven Slate drums, and had a pal Dustin play some great bass to compliment the lead stuff in this clip. I used my Duesenberg TV Star Player book ending the middle solos. The Yamaha RS502T in the 2nd solo and the LsL Saticoy in the 3rd solo along with the Axe Fx ii and the Yamaha THR100 for rhythm guitars.
