From the day I picked Kitt up to Kitts first car show. Sit back and enjoy. it's been a journey to say the least! This Knight rider replica started out as a 1982 trans am. Full ground up restoration . I get this question a lot, no, this is not the Fast and Loud knight rider car lol.

Simply amazing. I grew up on that show and always fantasized about having an 82 Trans Am. When I was 16 I found the closest thing I could find, which was an 83 Trans Am which was more similar to your wife’s car but it was close enough for me. Black and Tan, t-tops, v-8, and in great condition. I’m 40 now and think about that car nearly every day. Thank you for the video.

Without question your replica is the most accurate and meticulously put together K.I.T.T. I have ever seen 👏👏👏👏

YOU ROCK!!! I'm 47 years old and I grew up watching Knight Rider every Friday night! The Knight Industry Two Thousand is timeless!!! You nailed it! The detail is amazing, all the way down to the com-link watch!

Dude, this is so next level.....hell it's actually TOP LEVEL in my opinion. You knocked it out of the friggin' universe. What an incredible job you did. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing journey. In case you didn't notice.....I'm very impressed.

Without a doubt I can say that this replica absolutely deserves an applause. I actually got nowhere near this level of detail the first time I made a replica as an over enthusiastic college student. When I sold it I absolutely told myself the next car I got I would get and keep. Recently, I found a 1982 Trans AM just sitting on the side of the road for sale and bought it! With 89k miles no less. I’d love your notes, design ideas or just anything you find helpful to someone who wants to be just as passionate about the build as you. I’d love to get in touch.

Only car ever built to this level of perfection. None of the originals could compare. 8k digital era build vs low res tape. You are the “ONE”.

This build makes West Coast Customs look like amateurish, rouge.try hard, wannabe's! The time, commitment, devotion, passion, determination not to mention enthusiasm to create such an outstanding project/masterpiece is most inspirational. If there was such a thing as a "HOFF "award, then you would be the man!! Excellent work Chris, absolutely awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • I have to say pure perfection on KITT, I grew up loving this car. Great fab work!!

Can't get enough of how nice this car turned out to be. Can't wait to get mine up to that standard too but it's gonna take me another 6 months. So many details that make it look really nice.
  • KITT is my #1 dream car. Granted I wasn't born in the 80s, I watched reruns and fell in love with the car.
  • Your hard work paid off, congratulations. It truly is a beautiful replica.
