  • Thank you Kaitlyn for de-mystifying Chord patterns and I admire the way you reinforce to turn the beginners into pros.
  • One of the best videos on chord I have ever watched. You explain very well which makes you a great teacher. Can't Thank you enough for this.

This is the first time I’ve come across you and while I’m getting along now as a 72-year-old loving every minute I spend on the piano I think you’re teaching was excellent here. I’ll be back to see what else you have to offer. I love the last pattern that’s something new that I will try, thanks again

I've been playing piano for 40 years but can only play by reading music. I've never mucked around with chords like this. This is great for jamming with friends. Thanks so much. I'm gonna go give it a try. Thanks for the free download as well.

I like your style of teaching and enjoy your videos. I have been playing for 2 years; strictly reading sheet music. Frankly, progress was slow and boring. Recently, I learned to read lead sheets and study chord progressions. Suddenly, the piano is SO MUCH more interesting! At the end of the day, for most people, playing an instrument should about having fun.

As a 40 year veteran metal shred guitar player I have been picking up piano and the mechanics are very different. I love this as it gives us excellent hand/finger exercises and coordination. Thanks so much for these easy to understand lessons. 🙂
  • @DesertRat332
Great lesson! I'm glad YouTube lets me slow down the playback speed to 0.5 without changing the pitch. Good patterns to learn. Thank-you for sharing those!
  • @SPECOPRS
There’s something about your teaching style is so enjoyable and easy to understand and learn! Love this! ♥️

Just came across your video. Very informative and I like the way you teach. Instructions are clear and great song selections! Have subscribed and will definitely be a regular viewer from now on!!! Thank you very much!
  • @Mauronog1
The last one is my favourite, but I'm still working on the others too. Excellent way of teaching!! That's all I was looking for. Thanks!!
  • My goal is to become a professional pianist which I know will take years. My current keyboard has 36 keys but Ive bought one with 76 keys and will get to me in a couple weeks. Your excellent teaching will get me to where I want to be. ❤
  • @brushstroke3733
Awesome, this is exactly what I needed and was hoping to find. I've been playing guitar for a long time and messing around with keyboard for a while, but didn't really know what to do with the chords on piano. This is a huge help to give me an idea of what and how to play simple piano parts.
  • @doreen5582
wonderful . Thank you and enjoy and love your videos. Bless you
  • @fennis26
If you’re not a a pro nor a music reader, and I am neither, it’s easy to get in ruts just learning songs on YouTube tutorials and playing them over and over. This is a great tutorial to break out of the rut. Also helps you develop your ear in the absence of reading music. Thank you, Kaitlyn!
  • @russooliveira8167
Amei essa aula, estou iniciando no teclado, mas sou apaixonada por piano.
  • YOU ARE BY FAR THE MOST EFFECTIVE TEACHER I HAVE FOUND ON YOUTUBE! For me at least 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🎶🎤✌🏽🪷🩵
  • @adamforest1986
I just scanned over to about halfway in and wow I love what you just taught me with the arpeggios, thank you so much!
  • @jeannetteantry1086
Thanks for the cheat sheet. It is nice to find it as you said I would. I love Elton John. He is one of my favorite pianists and entertainers. But he was so popular when I was in my teens and his music is ingrained in my youth. I love how you have broken down his chords. I have spent hours trying to learn his somewhat easy anthems, especially focusing on "Your Song", in a book that has most of his popular songs. I am really working hard on the syncopate count and really want to be able to get the beat in his music. It is so challenging. I gravitate towards the difficult. I have the lead sheet for two of his songs. But I really struggle to learn to play them. You are really inspiring me to learn my chords and I can see how this will help me play these songs with accuracy and a real beat. You motivate me. And these days I need that more than anything. Thanks so much for all your hard work and these wonderful tutorials.
